Trip Itinerary:

1ST DAY: Arrival Transfer (65 Km)  

-       Arrival at Tunis Carthage Airport, assisted by our representative. Transfer to the hotel in Hammamet (45 Minutes driving = 65 Km), dinner and accommodation.

2ND DAY: Kairouan Monastir            Sousse Port El Kantaoui (280 Km)

-          After Breakfast, departure to Kairouan: one of the holiest sites in Islam and the spiritual home of all Tunisians. Explore Kairouan, the city that rises like a dream of ochre and tawny beige, bearing in its serenity 13 centuries of Islamic culture. Behold the wondrous beauty of its mosques, the symphony of its columns and arches, and the exquisite delicacy of the stonework.

-          Visit the Aghlabiden pools, the Great Mosque of Uqba Bin Nafi, an important Islamic landmark and architecture that was built in the 9th century (02H00 visit = 5 Km).

-       Visit Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum, which houses the tomb of one of Prophet Mohammed’s companions known as the Barber.

-       Free time in the Medina (1 Hour visit = 5 Km).

-       Continuation to Monastir, visit the Mausoleum Habib Bourguiba and the Ribath.

-       Departure to Sousse: the 3rd-largest city in Tunisia. The Medina of Sousse is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Tunisia. Explore the ramparts, walls that enclose certain parts of the city, and the 13th-century Ribath, an ancient rest stop for travelers.

-       Visit the Marina in Port El Kantaoui.

-       Return to the hotel in Hammamet, dinner, and accommodation                 

3rd DAY: Free day in Hammamet

-       Free day in the hotel in Hammamet on Half board.

4th DAY:

-          After Breakfast, check out and departure to Explore Carthage (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the capital of the ancient Carthaginian Empire. Visit Byrsa Hill to see the ruins of Roman buildings and the Carthage Museum. See the Tophet, where urns containing the ashes and milk teeth of 8th-century BC children have been unearthed. Visit Antonine Baths, a huge Roman bath complex on the edge of the Mediterranean.

-          Visit the village of Sidi Bou Said (10 minutes driving = 5 Km): stroll through the narrow streets of Sidi Bou Said, a picturesque small town bordered by white-washed houses with blue shutters and doors. Check out the various art galleries and try some mint tea in one of the traditional street cafes while enjoying the superb view of the Gulf of Tunisia.

-          Next, visit Tunis Medina where we will see the “old Tunisia” which includes the Medina, the ‘European’ quarter built at the beginning of the 20th century, and the new modern suburbs (05 Km; 10 minutes driving)

-          Installation in the hotel in Tunis, and accommodation.

5th DAY: Free day in Tunis

-       Free day in the hotel on Bed & breakfast.              

6H DAY: Departure Tunis airport

-          After Breakfast, departure to Tunis airport for final departure (05- 15 Km = 15-25 minutes driving)
